Support Worker - Craigieburn

7am-9am Monday to Friday OR 4pm-8pm on Tuesdays and Fridays

We are looking for compassionate and motivated female carers to support our fantastic client in Craigieburn, Melbourne VIC.

Shifts available: 7am-9am Monday to Friday OR 4pm-8pm on Tuesdays and Fridays. 

This opportunity would be best suited to: 

  • Someone who holds a Certificate in Disability Support with at least experience. 

  • A person studying Nursing or Occupational Therapy with a few years’ experience in the disability sector. 

People who do not hold the above qualifications but have lived experience of supporting someone living with a disability are also encouraged to apply.


What skillset do you need for this opportunity?

  • The ability to fully support our client with personal care utilising your mobility equipment and transfer experience. 

  • Experience with PEG feeding and suctioning.

  • Experience with non-verbal communication strategies and use of PODD.

  • Experience with epilepsy and asthma management.

If successful, you will complete online training and hands-on training to ensure you will be able to provide one on one support to our client.

To be successful you need to have:

  • NDIS Worker Screening Check

  • Working with Children Check (if you work with U18s)

  • Current First Aid and CPR

  • NDIS Worker Orientation Module

  • 2 work related references
